Photography is there for all of us. Images are present in our lives in many ways.
There are snapshots of far-away relatives tucked into the corners of a mirror at home
and there are images of personal expression or overt persuasion all around us on our
walls, aesthetic reminders of our own peculiar notions of beauty, chaos or any other
of thirty three emotional flavors. We keep shrines to places and people so that they
are not forgotten. We have albums cataloging the years we were together or the places
we have been or drawers full of random memories which mean the world to those whose
lives are found there but perhaps little to the rest of us on the outside, because we
have our own, somewhere. |
