The images which are presented here are from a series entitled 'Life after Death.' The body of work is ongoing according to the artist but it is already a powerful series of images. The landscapes are invested with an energy which transcends the classical landscape. The use of infrared film, which generally lends an otherworldly type quality to its subjects, serves to underscore the convergence of place and energy. I don't mean to sound like a new age crackpot with life, love and light the sole basis of my critique but there is no mistaking the transcendent nature of these images.
