In her own words... "Urban Anthropology is a photographic analysis examining
conditions of contemporary urban environments. Using only a pinhole camera
and focusing on the history of structure, relics of our past are considered as
they exist today."
The following images from St. Louis, Missouri and Asbury Park, New Jersey are
documents of a sort but they may as well be predictions, laying out the direction
of any number of urban centers. This is a body of work that stands up for itself
aesthetically but it has at its center the artist's concerns about where we are at this moment and
in what direction we are heading.
